Bender has to save his friends (and Zoidberg) and has to get 1-X to help.
This Emmy Award Winning episode starts off with Fry, Leela, Bender, The Professor, and Dr. Zoidberg watching a star that is about tturn into a supernova.
In Futurama's final scene, Leela tells Fry that she wants to hear how the opera, and in respect, the series, ends.
Announcer: And her opponent, from the planet Earth, by way of the sewers of NNY, Gladiator Leela.
The rest of the Planet Express gang comes in and is in shock that Leela is awake.
The next morning when Leela woke up she could hear Fry whistling in the kitchen, she got out of bed and wrapping a dressing gown around herself she walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen.

Leela fought her impulse to strangle the girl and instead extended her hand.
